What is the worst thing you ever did in XI?
(Not including anything add-on, hacking, or third party stuff [yes I know y'all are a devious lot]).

Senaki's confession:
My worst crime on XI was conducted right as Omen had come out. I was spamming enter on my weaponskill as we fought the Omen boss in the mid and after killing it I accidentally hit the light and force quit everyone. The LS freaked out about not getting drops and wasting an hour and was out for blood. Pointing fingers at everyone, I then proceeded to blame a noob for it. He got yelled at over voice chat.

I don't remember who the noob was, but I still feel bad about it.

Two things i still remember and still am ashamed

1. Back when i was pretty fresh on game, i joined a Legion pug as COR, back when that was the top hard content, and i barely know how to roll properly. It was pretty evident how bad i was doing on a simple job due my COR being totally level by worms party. The thinking of joining a pug with a suposelly easy job without knowing anything about it.

2. Back when Delve was starting to become doable (around skirmish 2 introduction and first ilv gear wave), i was doing pugs daily to fight tojil knowing very little about most game aspects. Resulting in running Delve with half assed BRDs that didnt even care to fill the accessory slots (like no accessory at all). No wonder i never got a win out of those pug time, with DDs surely not haste capped.

after the introduction of Alexandrite to Hallmarks in Ambuscade was the first time I ever had large amounts of the stuff to sell vs self-farming for weapons I was building. As I store the stuff on a random mule, one day I decided I would go to bed with my mule's bazaar full of 30 stacks of alex...but I accidentally priced the individuals at stack prices because I honestly had never sold a stack of something in my bazaar before that night.

I wake up, and all my alex has sold- yay! Then I see my gil amount and it is WAY off what I was expecting. I maximize the chatlog, and Battlemod does that sometimes wonky thing of blanking out the history. Now, I know that it was between 2am EST and 8am EST, so I'm sure I pissed the hell outta some non-NA player, and because I hadn't ever even AH'ed something on that mule, there was no history for it, and because my log went to ***I couldn't even find out who bought it.

And that, my friends, is the story of how I built an Armageddon.

Leveling in Crawler's Nest on ... Stuff. Probably Crawlers or lizards. I'm tanking on NIN. The puller is awful. I'm falling asleep between pulls. I'm sucking it up because NIN is a great sub for Promy fights. Finally ding 37. Now's my chance to escape. /sea all 34-37. No tanks to replace me.

I decided to cast Divine Emblem Holy II on an LS member who got charmed during Dynamis-Divergence. Wasn't expecting to one-shot him...

oh that's not a confession. I PURPOSELY Leaden anything that gets charmed in Dyna-D if I have time. If you get yelled at for that try firing an Energy Drain for dagger users or Aspir from DRK at your tank who gets charmed. All the fun, none of the bodies!

I was in an XP party and a DD was so bad i D2'd him.

back in the day, I casually outclaimed a bunch of high level players on Valkurm Emperor as I passed through on a low level. I was going to die, so I CFH'd

although, the guy who actually engaged to help probably made the worse decision

then I found out everyone calls it Joo-no

Bought 2 billion gil worth of obviously duped medals for 500k ea and pled ignorance.

Not too long ago I 1 shotted my PLD in ambu a couple months ago because he was charmed. Took a me minute to even realize that he was charmed.

His response:"only 3 more seconds and it would have wore"

I had to kite it for a few minutes til he was back on his feet.

We had a good laugh.

i cheated someone for 100k on a casino once. . . i wasn't running it.

Taking my LS the wrong way toward Ou several times... "Smaller Light!"

Pulling Dynamis-Buburimu for the first time back in the day, not knowing that the dhalmels spawned many extra dhalmel. "Pulling 4 Dhalmel now" became 20+ very quickly.

Dropping my entire social LS by accident in about 2006/7 when I had so many active players. It took weeks to get most of them back. Some would /tell me months later asking "I thought the LS disbanded?"

So many fails as a leader of group content... but I guess that's how we learn so it doesn't count. Had some fails so spectacular they weren't even funny.

One of my LS mates got charmed in Dynamis Divergence, so I instantly cast Death on him. It landed and he died immediately.

I did so many stupid things I can't even remember one in particular honestly.

Is that a bad sign?

Stole a Kraken Club from a LS group once in 2007.

Long story short, Played with LS and was all tight together and all, building together up. Got THF 75 with TH4 among other things over the years.

Took a break from the game for a year due to reasons, lent account to LS since I was only TH4 THF in this group.

Came back next year expecting to play my account again, LS was all like "we kinda gave it to one of our friends to use, but we will help you start over!!!"

Social engineered into their WHM alt and dboxed myself the Kraken Club.

Hey, it helped kickstart my new account with a new name no one knew.

Moral : Don't ever share your accounts to online strangers.

So we were doing Voidwatch as a full alliance back when it was brand new, and this new monster was giving us trouble. We were taking it slow. We proc red, and I, along with all the other melee, proceed to zerg it with everything I had. When the proc freeze (and my Fanatic's Drink...remember those?) was about to wear off, I decided to sit back and chill for a little till we get another zerg chance. But little did I know I was about to change history

Remember the Easter egg events where you had to spell your name or something for a shitty MND+2 piece of equipment or something?

Those eggs looked like Bird Eggs and everyone was trading them for 5-15k which was a lot back in 2005 for low level players.

I swapped an egg for a Bird Egg right before the trade and confirmed.

And then ran.

I was 14.

And in later life, he became known as the Kraken Club guy.

SATA+WS everything that moves and not is a tank. Back in 75's days, to make my macros faster I had Sneak Attack, Trick Attack, and weapon skill in one macro. Every time I wanted to use WS, it got used with everything else. Now think about poor brds, whms, and other mage job who were just running in front of you to cast a spell or a song just to get hate transfer on them.

And obviously I always blamed those poor mages for positioning wrong. So many nice wipes occurred thanks to that.

I had a friend loan me a k-club waaaay back to skill up club on..... And gasp, I gave it back when I was done.

When I was making my first relic, Aegis, I fell for the old currency scam buying singles for prices of hunderds.

Stupid me.

That mfer though... mfer I got back to him but he just didn't give.
