Update is in 90 minutes. Anyone who has uncovered the mechanics of the exploit should just report it on OF so they can patch it up. Will take em a bit to look into it but at least it would be on record. Otherwise that whole shard market is done

How does information about a dupe exploit even get out to people?? Why would whoever figured out such a thing ever tell people instead of keeping it all to themselves.
Guy that basically just put thousands upon thousands upon thousands of kindreds and beast not only admitted to it, but did it to expose the ppl that were doing it. I'm guessing some LS drama or real life money transaction gone wrong. There's no telling why it came out....but doesnt stop the fact easily 10k plus of each medal was just put into circulation on Asura. Easily.
It doesn't get out. It gets exploited for months until they make it too obvious and then one of the "right people" catches on and finds it.

This probably (definitely) was already going on on other servers and nobody said a word. Just quietly cashing out. It just all blew up on Asura, cuz Asura. I had wondered for a while how certain people could afford to drop the price of medals considerably lower than competition/AH, and always have a huge supply. Noticed it mostly this week on Monday. Guy was selling nq medals for 1m/ea and it was 1.4m on AH. ***been going on, nothing SE can do about it besides close it now. The damage is already done, and will get even worse when PLUS campaign drops.

meanwhile the more recent salvage "bannings" some people literally ran multiple character in salvage, using automated tools to run thru and kill mobs then warp back a couple of levels to farm those levels again for the entire duration every day for months... only got a 5 day vacation and kept their stacks of alex so large entire mules had their inventories full of it

It's trash because he did it all on his main, his ls did it on their mains, and they're all about to eat bans. Plus, he's likely going to have customers pissed when they find out where all his stock came from.

We all know SE will not Ban them, no one got banned for duping Salvage Alexandrite and cheapening the creation of Mythics, they won't care at all about some Medals.
