I’m getting it too. Not sure what changed. I’ve had three crashes since update and use to leave my instances logged in for weeks with no issues

my accounts have been online 24/7 since the update went live, no oddities here. What kind of CPU are you using? I'm on a Intel 5700K OC'd at 4.5Ghz

Getting this as well, and especially noticeable in areas where this didn't happen before (mog house).

Have 5 running right now, all between 9-11%. I have no baseline so not sure if this is high or not.

Everything is relative to your processor and resolution. Your usage doesn't really have any meaning to his situation.

Do you perchance use Chrome? I feel like the codec changed and now it's using unusually high CPU amounts. Firefox? No problem.

Used to netflix and FFX a ton. Only recently did I start to get that 'cpu' stutter in Netflix and voice apps with it all running.

Since I changed to Firefox for netflix it's a.ok.

3 accounts + playing gta v full screen and no issues. Though previous updates in the past have done that to me.

Someone's comment related to ffxi+Netflix while running chrome got me thinking about a related issue while running ffxi+HBOnow on chrome. Recently I've noticed HBOnow ceasing it's video component sporadically and wondering if this could also be related to the aforementioned possible changes in CPU usage via chrome. I'll be giving firefox a chance again tonight, unless someone tells me I'm off my rocker.

i hve 5 session in 1024x768
and my main in 1920x1200

however if might want to try using project mercury if you are having a high cpu usage from multiple sources

https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/project_mercury.html

just start it up and let its runs its magic while you game

Man what are you guys doing to have such low CPU usage?

I'm running an i5 6400 @2.7GHz, quad core
1 @ 1920x1080 27% cpu
2 @ 1024x576 18% cpu each

both my mules logged in have all effects turned off, no weather, no shadows, nothing.

quickedit: also running a GeForce 1060 6GB, not using DGvoodoo on a desktop.

couldn't think of anything else to try, so i ran a file check and repair, although the only thing i swap out is maps. it seems to have helped, most of today has been running smooth again.
I've found dats swaps in general are causing an issue... And posted about it. I'm a bit too busy with other things to look into untested ways of fixing it. The status Icon swaps also crash the game x.x which is horrible since the SE icons are really bad.

I'll get a sudden, sustained spike in CPU usage when a background process related to Google Chrome is hogging like 50%+ cpu usage. Task manager 'end task' it and all's good.
