How do you pay rent/mortgage?
-I've only been out of work since June 1st, June was paid in May and July was paid in June. I generally pay in advance.

Electric, water, car insurance, phone? Internet for ffxi?
- Again all those bills were paid a month in advance before I was out of work.

How do you pay for food?
- My church helped me out, I used cash and I applied for snap up until I go back to work.
Who will watch the kids when you start working?
-The same person I pay before I lost my job June 1st.

It is summer right now what are the kids doing?
- Playing outside, playing with tablets, coloring, eating and drink more than 2 grown men.

How could you have any time for ffxi?
- My children are pretty independent. I play when they are occupied, on weekends, when they are sleep, or when they watch cartoons. Does it matter?

Does the 2 year old sleep through the night?
- My 2 year old has slept through the night since he was 8 months. The kid sleeps 10-12 hours a night.

Will you be paying for child care for the 2 year old?
- Again I have it worked out with my babysitter.

Anything else you'd like to know? I've always been the breadwinner in my home, we operate on a budget, don't have cable, eat a fairly clean diet so we don't spend lots of money on junk, my Bills total less than $2000 a month.

I used to make roughly 3000 a Month, with the new job I will make 32,500. So you do the math, figure out taxes and how much I save. Hell I'll even show you a pay stub.

Kids sleep more than adults, so he can get on for an hour or two each night rather easily. As for the other questions those are major issues I am sure but if you read you would know this responsibility just got plopped into his lap less than two months ago. Sounds like the previous arrangements involved him having partial custody. He also may have a family member for daycare, you don't know, and we don't need every detail of this dude's life.

I'm going to need a DNA sample before I donate any money. I'll have it analyzed to make sure he is who he says he is.

Cost of living is cheap here. Research the Mahoning/Shenago Valley. Just base salary tho. But even if that was the only thing I made, I still run a surplus.

And it's also not very applicable to this scenario. At least not with the analogy of lottery winners. Lottery winners think they just inherited some absurdly high amount and it'll never run out and rarely seek to actually live within their new means. This guy just got handed a ***sandwich and is only asking for a little assistance to deal with the short-term consequences of it. He's not asking for us to pay off his house, he just needs a little help to deal with a one-time surprise collection of ***circumstances.
