After this last windows 10 update my windower won't launch. It automatically crashes after I both double click the icon or run as administrator. I have tried running in windows 7 compatibility mode. I have tried reinstalling. No luck!

I am able to start ffxi through POL. Does anyone have any advice or has faced a similar issue? This last update was the big windows 10 update that took several hours.

Thank you!

Could you check your event log under applications and post the error ? That could point us in the right direction.

I saw something similar yesterday after the update. Except I just let it sit trying to load and after about 10 minutes, it finally did and I was good. But that's going to be annoying if there is going to be a 10 minute wait every time.

I will try and find that when I get home tonight and post. Please bear with me - I am not super tech savvy.

The windows 10 update made voodoo make me crash, removing it stopped the crash. Tried to fix it but couldnt. Did a checkpoint restore for now and it works, pre-update.
Friend had to reinstall windows 10 for it to work with voodoo and current update.

Instead of opening a new thread, I just decided to post the problem I am encountering here, since it is a bit similar.

I have the game on my laptop and desktop installed. Both running Windows 10 (home on laptop / pro on desktop). Same version number and same OS Build. Everything runs fine on the laptop but on the desktop, Windower is not able to launch POL. I am copying the crash file generated. I have tried every every tip/advice what I could find with Google, but nothing has worked so far.
