Lol. Well if I know someone's name it usually means either that person is posting "too much", either troll/flam often, or both. And that's no good to be a mod. Being active while remaining unnoticed by the community is a quality to my eyes. Having the feeling that someone is right behind your shoulder while you're typing just sux.
Being a "nobody" is more beneficial than already having a reputation. And having a low post count doesn't matter. Seen mods on other boards having like 500 posts, while some members had 15K+.
Constructive/Helpful posting is what I'm thinking.
