I shouldn't have to wedge myself into a corner to not slide around (and you still might slide along the wall then too)

One thing that bugs me is that if you press cancel after choosing to attack an enemy but before you visibly engage, you'll have no target. You'll still auto attack but it's really stupid for spells and abilities since macros with <t> in them will fail. the stairs in ordelle's cave
Increase seller's AH space.
Not sure if this applies to computer users. But I wish they'd fix that 5 second freeze that occurs 10 seconds after you zone every time. I think they tried to fix it, but it's still annoying. > >;

Standard Client update chunks tell the server your current position. You send one every UDP packet. Action chunks tell the server what action you're going to perform (for instance, casting magic).
Currently SE uses your position from the previous UDP packet as the start time for your current action. So: UDP packet 1: Standard Client chunk position 1 UDP packet 2: Standard Client chunk position 2 + Cure IVd action packet Cure IV would be treated as if you started casting it at Standard Client chunk position 1 for interruption purposes. This is why you have to stop and wait half a second before beginning to cast anything on mage jobs. If they switched it to use the standard client chunk position in the same packet as the action, you wouldn't have to do that one-count pause anymore and mage jobs would feel much more active because moving would be less of a penalty. That's what I wish they'd fix. I wish they would fix the game day waits for the quests for captain rank, did it all first try on one character, then had to do it for me and took like 7hours. >:(
I wish item level gear wouldn't really effect the player level; and that only the weapons would. I also wish they do something about magian trial weapons and get them to i119 as well.
That or they should just unlock the player level cap to 119.. Subs @ LvL60 can be really useful so why the heck not! Make Bonanza Marbles Key Items

Subs @ LvL60 can be really useful so why the heck not! Where they screwed the pooch on item level was stat vomit. There plainly already exist formulae for determining players' HP, MP, and stats based on level and job/subjob combination. All itemlevel on gear should have been was a small tag indicating item level. Then the average item level is calculated for a player's gear, and then this level value is used for determining the player's HP/MP/Stats, without any stat vomit. This way jobs that can use the same piece of gear wouldn't be tied to the same stat vomit on that gear, but would get whatever they would have 'normally' gotten at that level, and the removal of stat vomit would allow people to make better, easier gear choices by being able to see what is actually increased above baseline on a piece of equipment without deep thought or search. Iv always got the image of a bunch of 'warriors' charging into the castle, finally finding the shadow lord... and then breaking out into a river dance! -_- I'd be fine without run/geo as I pretend they don't exist anyway...

I understand a lot of people have issues when a frilly dancer not only outdamages, but outtanks them and outheals them. One day you'll get over it. That when you gain a level your skills were capped to that level.

NO Just NO Pls go play wow NO they need to bring back you can only cap it on higher level monsters than yourself. Seconding the animation lock on revives --- it's complete *** *** to Reraise and then be wiped by an AoE spell that you couldn't have predicted and couldn't run away from.
Or better yet, give reraised players a 5-second invincibility period so they don't die infinitely Fix the terrible game killing decision of breaking lvl 75 cap for ffxi...
Valefor.Endoq said: » Fix the terrible game killing decision of breaking lvl 75 cap for ffxi... Breaking 75 cap wasn't the bad decision. It was keeping 75 the cap for so very long before raising it, combined with all the people who look back fondly on six hour waits to get into a party, and spending 8-12 months of their life getting one job to 75. PC users have to deal with the 30-second wait for items/people to load. That little spinning item bag icon on the top right has become my bane. Get rid of Pol for login and updates. The login process makes me neglect rebooting my pc or router at all costs.
Ntm when you do an update it file checks twice usually. The 95% accuracy cap for players. Like, *** that ***. I can't tell you how many times I got sad in the pants from wiffing a big weaponskill like Steel Cyclone, Ground Strike, or Tachi: Gekko. Or even completely missing a multi-hit WS like Guillotine.
