Rep the sam with a cor. Cor/geo/brd buff your quint spear pld to make the six step and use the sch to skillchain for all magic bursts. I think 6 is the lowest you could clear with (whm geo pld brd sch cor). You would speed things up immensely with a second sch though.
SAM is out of a job eh? Hmm I'll take a look at the PLD's role in that then.

What 6-step can pld make with polearm? The highest I can see is 5, unless I'm missing something obvious.
Pld is a wasted slot can tank the nm on sam and not bringing a thf is HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.
Our strat's better than yours! Bringing X is useless and you shouldn't do it cause it's bad.
I think it's penta to raiden x3 to get the 6 step but I'm not pld so I haven't paid much attention to that. As to bringing a thf, the question here was lowest number possible. The only thing you bring a thf for is drops. We don't like sam for this nm because they're very squishy if bane of taurtarus goes off and it's a risk to despawn the NM - PLD is safer.
What I'd like to try: PLD, SCHx2, GEOx3.

I'm thinking: entrust haste, refresh, focus, langour, acumen, malaise, int.
and for pld, probably attunement & vex? or fade and fend. scholar on skillchain duty would only end skillchain when weakness changes: reason At least when applicable earth: wind > earth > wind > etc water: earth > water > end wind: thunder > wind > end fire: earth > fire > earth > etc ice: water > ice > end thunder: ice > thunder > end |
