Having a tough time on 119 smn/bst, uses Doom too frequent. Tried on MNK and THF, same deal. Holy Waters rarely work, and if they do, the next one fails.

Any advice?

Will void clusters help for this? Even worth using with the Doom he uses throughout the fight?

If you pop 5 clusters and Doom Screen you could maybe zerg it on SAM. I did this a few week back for my WHM mule on WAR/SAM and I didn't notice it use doom, but I had Doom Screen up anyway.

If doom landing is your main problem, maybe try to sub blm and stun it.

Void clusters won't directly help you with doom, but it will considerably lower its hp/attack/defense, leading to less tp moves overall and a much shorter fight.

Is getting a Phial of Doom Screen luck of the draw or can I just purchase from Abyssea and it works here too?

Its a temp you get at start with a ki, that should drop from high tier vw.

But about doom, if you plan to use holy waters, use 2x blenmots ring. Aparently it enhance the effectiveness of holy water. If you have a whm to help, it isnt hard to create a cursna set. With light arts, cursna capped and 2 saidas ring in the dd, i hardly die, even for stuffs like yumcax.

I wouldn't bother buying another account, leveling whm and getting a cursna set to kill a VW T1.

Just use your Void clusters, click on "Astral conduit" and win.

NIN and SMN can solo Laidly Laurence, the latter, probably easily.
BST might have issues with Call Beast timers.

RUN might too, but I have next to nothing in knowledge of that job, other than it gets stuff that gives elemental resists.

Tried to solo on RDM awhile back, with full Hagondes, capped MDT, Baraero/Phalanx (500+ enhancing) and a full powered Stoneskin up most the time more or less, Disgorge was still getting fired off in the 5000's or so. Consistently.

The only cap i know i took from whm guide, seems like 45% or so, and thats easy because there are a lot of items for that: debilis medallion, haoma ring x2, gendewitha gages, mending cape, hierro mittens, each providing at least 10%. Saida ring enhance cursna received, by 15%, so its higher than 50% the chance of cure. Its pretty reliable in practice tbh. I use it for yumcax and shinryu, just a really bad luck to doom reach zero.
