Starter Swords.

Still rather new to BLU, what are 2 swords that would be rather easy to get while i finish farming my almace?

Get an augmented firmament from Abyssea or buy AH swords, and start farming a STR-path Shikargar. Once you 99 the STR sword, mainhand it until you finish Almace.

ETA: Alternatively, if it's an option, sanus ensis is a decent option while you build other swords. See Proth's amazing BLU guide for more options.

Build a wind shikargar on non firesdays (chase the weather) and a fire shikargar whenever firesday comes around.

Can double up on a couple of the earlier trials to save some time.

There are several rather easy to obtain Abyssea dropped swords.

Mageblade and Isador for two. There are probably more.

Then there is WoE and Voidwatch stuff too. A bit more difficult to obtain but if you have another reason to spam any VWNM that drops a nifty sword, or a WoE crew, go for it.

And then there is Heimdall's Doom which has got to be one of the best reasons to spam Hazhalm Testing Grounds and Odin's Chamber II ever.

Dex Shikargar, Wind Shikargar, Bikhah Sword(+1), and Isador are the fastest I can think of you getting and are very effective for different situations.

Eventually you'll want to finish your Str Shikargar but first grab two Bikhah Swords and that'll stopgap dd options for now and sell one back when you 85 your almace.
