PC Specs would help unless you're looking for a general answer then here it is:

at least a i7 with at least 8 gigs of ram for no lag in most cases.

Now if you doing it on something more low-end, tone down. Turn down graphic settings and make the res to like 800x600 and so on and see if that helps but generally the lag comes from not having enough ram. Of course the slack can be more fine worked around by switching what cores each window is using.

If you got hyper threading then you want to set one to 0 and the other to 1 and leave 2 & 3 unchecked.

Herp, sorry

Windows 7 64 bit I5 intel graphics 640 x 480 resolution

I could do it flawlessly on Windower 3.4 but on 4 it just wont let me do it. Could it be the "super sampling"?

I5 intel graphic might be your issue.

if your 3.4 ran perfectly you might wanna check if you have super sampling turned on in 4.0

some tips speed up tips:
try to reduce shadows. projected shadows slows down a lot in cities.

if you lag around maws and fluxes you might wanna install
Gaia's No Lag Patch v1.1

I was suspecting the super sample. its just FPS lagging when im having two characters up at the same time. Ill try super sampling off on second window here in a sec

also: i have all shadows and effects turned off in game :<

yea...supersampling off on second window doesnt help. brings my FPS to an awesome 9. Had bump mapping on though....

Seems my FPS didnt like supersampling and bump mapping together or bump mapping at all.

but now it looks like a grainy mess...but ill live with that...

On a side note why is it in whitegate and nashmau there is always a fps drop which makes it all choppy? Even now when there only like 20 people in these two zones it just lags like hell
