having an issue with getting gear collector to work.

My global.xml and settings.xml are in the correct locations. However, when i type in //gc job, or //gc job gearcollector to retrieve the items, it will pull all my gear out of my inventory, but not put any gear in the sets into my inventory.

any ideas?

You're typing in "//gc job" or "//gc WHM"?

//gc NIN and //gc NIN gearcollector, with a gear set in my NIN.xml named gearcollector.

I save my xml like so, "Selassie_War.xml". When I'm gearing war, I type: "//gc Selassie_war". This works for me. I hope it helps you.

i got it to work, sort of. i had a long gear set in mine with all my nin gear called gearcollector. i deleted this set, and it then collected all the gear in my xml. however, i have seen other xmls with this gearset listed in it. any ideas on that?

Can add a gear collector set at the bottom of your already listed sets. Only add gear/weapons/ammo/items, that are not already include in said listed sets.

Something as simple as this can work in any XML :

Also, be sure to abbreviate your gear in your XML when its abbr. in-game, else it will ignore it and not move it.
