yes but I doubt it will get banned, If anything obama administration has the final say, and they will prolly make microsoft pay motorola a ***ton of money, rather than ban the xbox

Motorola is in process of having their products banned cause of patent issues
so now it's Motorola's time to push back ... It's just a battle between 2 companies that will never be happy until one admits wrong doing.

companies do this all the time, even the Germany ban is a joke.
however: good could come out of this, if they actually rewrote copyright/patent laws to protect the consumer instead of rich ***, we'd all be better off.

Motorola makes a lot of things, and not just consumer end products...
the fact of the matter is: the product is made/out, Microsoft should be fined per infringement, or settle for a lower fine.
h.264 should be in the public now anyway, what other patents did they break? (wireless ones?) change the damn wireless card, not that hard, and it's better than losing those potential sales.

i know this most likely wont happen and really if it has to go to the top it most likely will be the xboxs that wins. again ign is right people do not know how the sales of video games work if this happen there will be no halo 4. for the people in the us.

I stand corrected they make one crappy mobile phone and the pitiful droid OS for smartphones along with those annoying as hell bluetooth things that make me think everyone is an escaped mental patient talking to themselves. Copyright/patent law at best is subjectively enforced in this country, basically only enforced if it benefits the governments interests. I can see in this case if Microsoft's taxable revenue outshines Motorola's taxable revenue/military contributions then they will win, if vice versa it will rule in motorolas favor.

I stand by though the most I personally expect to see is a royalties order. There's too much taxable revenue associated with microsoft gaming to fullscale ban.
I would assume microsoft is using the same tech in their new xbox720. so they have to settle this because its not just "Ohwell 360 is dying out anyways lets just drag this out until the 720 comes out" i assume it just comes down to microsoft chucking some cash at moto,
