Modded dynamis Map request
Wondering if anyone has done this. I have checked several forums and can't seem to find any replacement dats for the in-game dynamis maps. If noone is willing to mod them, at least help me find the .dat and I will make a go at it myself. I am kinda looking for something like this, but cleaner.

I could use the maps off BGwiki to build a set of DATs for Dynamis Maps, but the first step would require finding the actual location of the DAT files.
I could probably even make those ones neater and just apply the monster distribution data to the NM/TE/Staggering guide maps.

Yeah, that's my biggest problem is finding the dats. They are lost in there somewhere.
Why not download a map pack? If it replaces the Dynamis maps, then it will have to include their .dats. That would narrow down your search a lot.

Where is a current map pack? I haven't seen one in ages, albeit I haven't been looking too hard..

It's a little hard to distinguish between Orc/Quadav on the map, other than that it looks pretty nice.
On second thought it's not that bad, I was looking at it sideways without my glasses. :x

That is exactly what I was looking for. Any chance you are willing to do other maps as well? I'll let you know how it looks in game after JP midnight.
you looking for every zone or just the dreamlands etc?
If you're going off the BGwiki maps for dreamlands, Qufim and Tav are incomplete. I have the information-"completed" versions on my computer, but my artistic abilities are that of a 4-year-old so I didn't want to update the wiki with them. I will see if I can find them.
Dreamlands are my biggest concern, other zones are pretty straight forward and easily marked in game.
Unfortunately, there was 40 people in bubu today, so i didn't go there to check the map. I'll update when I get a chance to enter there.

im working on all the dynamis zones i got valk done but im working on finishing the rest and ill release as a map pack
edit i already noticed i forgot to put the type of procs in for goobue manti and treant and already fixed it

I've never been able to find the EP Crawlers in Buburimu, they're never where the map says they should be when I go to look.
I've been trying to replace these maps in the folders as directed, but going into ROMS only shows 240 folders. They shouldn't be hidden should they?
Nevermind, I was in an old download on a backup harddrive, I found the proper install.
