Personally, it'd be *** stupid for them to even consider making HNM triggers farmable like other items (RE: first ACP mission horseshit). Everyone is right in saying that these particular mobs would end up just as over-camped as the HNMs are now, and the nightmare wouldnt be alleviated.
The absolute only way I can see making a trigger system work is either applying a point system similar to Zeni, or by making the triggers drop through ENMs, just like the Cloud Evoker.
Personally, the Cloud Evoker method is my favorite because it allows a good "system" for popping both the NQ and HQ HNMs. NQ triggers from the ENMs, HQ triggers from defeating the NQs. Exact same method they use to battle Ouryu/Bahamut.

I'm just saying it wont hurt anyone if people get a chance at actually fighting the HNM its not making the game easyer..... seriously...camping something for 12hr+ and not getting anything out of it....and your calling that "hard"? You need a doctors appointment cause that's not hard, it's a waste of time.
If your given the chance to actually fight the HNM then now you can actually use your skill "with no interruption" and see if you can beat him. That's FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's say the mobs spawn on 10 min timers and it takes you 2 minutes to kill the mob (meaning you have to have a lot of people out there if they're lvl 85 mobs). That makes 5 spawns per hour. Which means that your 1/100 chance per round goes to 1/20 chance per hour. If you don't get lucky, your drop will take you 20 hours of killing every mob in the zone within 2 minutes of its pop. And you say it only takes one mob.. Sure.. Yeah.. 1 in 1000 mobs will drop it. So, if you're incredibly lucky, it only takes 1. If you have competition though... Let's say you get 2 spawns per hour... That means with the % the mob will drop it, it'll take you 500 hours to get the drop. Now let's think... Is that better or worse than the current system?

If I hear one more person say that King items are for people who "work hard" for them, I'm going to take off my Frenchie white glove and smack them across the face. Having a damn NASA claim everysingle pop for you while you toss bodies at something till it dies is NOT working for something.
A new king system is sorely needed. Want people to xp in old zones more, make king pop items buyable with CP and rank 10. Old zones will fill again with pt's and you'll see mission shouts and it will be glourious. Seriously though, idc how they change it or make it a pain in the ***, it would be worth it just to see all the POS who dropped 2k RL on a stupid bot have their cash down the drain.
Anyone who is QQ'ing about rarity of gear and any other *** can shut the hell up. I'm one of the biggest *** you'll ever meet, but even I know that ff isn't just for me. I play for myself, to improve my character and to have fun with my shell. Who gives a *** if more people have an Ebody, maybe pickup parties will suck a little less.

People QQing about Ridills, really? sub sam, use a GA and merit GA 8/8. Really want to see the coolness of 2-3 swings? Buy a Mkris and merit dagger. Dring? nice to have, but seeing one drop every 6months-1year is also depressing. E.Body? there's another way to get Abjurations now, and also it isn't as 'game breaking' as it used to be since other choices have been released, even though it is still the top overall. The orb system would be super, from ENMs, but that will never happen more than likely. Nice Idea thou :( It's nice to see people still defending the king system as being fine the way it is, and OMG IT'S SO CHALLENGING. No, It's not. Either you get really lucky and claim (skillwut?) or have 3-6 bots running. Has been that was for along time, and sadly it always will be. At least SE's releasing other actual challenging things in the game instead of staring at a waterfall/desert/tundra for 3+ hours a day.

now my turn to ignore you guys >.> I still think this will never happen. That being said, I like this idea but mixed with the Cloud Evoker one. ENM with NQ king once every 5 days with the chance of a CE type of item dropping to fight HQ version. I also agree with everything Fro said.

Exact same method they use to battle Ouryu/Bahamut. cloud evoker setup FTW! :) I personally would not be happy with hundreds of other peeps sitting around waiting for shiki, V.E. or any other top notch nm to pop. Too much competition all @ one time will get ppl pissed off and want to play other games because the chances of getting an item will drop majorly! plus, se would have to adjust drop rates! no way would 5-6-7 camps of ppl wait every 2-3 hours for a nm and not get a drop 2-3 times in a row (this is for example, of course) i would be thorougly pissed, and if that happened, then se would probably be forced to make the drops above 50%, so camps would cycle out

I just wanna see more methods, systems and utility of obtaining particular items rather than it coming from only one way that is frequently dominated and worn out. Well.... Diorite is about 1/50-1/100 from my luck. If you kill the statues in ~2 minutes time it should take you ~90-180 minutes for a drop, which is ~ how long it has usually taken me for a drop with a small group.
I'm just pointing out that his 1/1000 drop rate and the amount of time he thinks it would take to get a drop is flawed.

Perhaps we're narrowing things down to specifically. I want to see more ideas on how we can spread out alternative methods on obtaining gear from what would typically only come from one rare NM pop that is frequently botted/camped by numerous linkshells.
I like the NM popping to your claim after killing the correct placeholder, as well as the rare item drop used to pop the NM comming from relevant mobs.
Something dynamic and complex like getting NM drops from nyzul would also be cool, but would need it's own system and particulars. Any other ideas anyone?

i was just saying if you where killing all of them at 1 time 3:45 you do have to add time for killing and resting but 1 allance can kill all them mob them self so more ppl can kill other mobs and lol get some exp at the same time

Just do Einherjar they drop same abjurations. As far as Hauticlaire, Aegisgelmar or w/e, they should have a small % drop rate on KS99's. It doesn't make sense for KS99's to drop black belt items and no abjurations. But it is fair for Einherjar to have a low drop rateon Abjruations since the final boss can be particularly challenging.
