You have to enter with goals to do something entirely different, Eve/trials/EXP etc. Then you'll have no problem finding him, he'll find you.

Don't think you can solo him, would need stunners to stun the single-target magic so spikes don't omgwtfpwn I think.

Do some research yourself if you're so interested, not like it takes more than 2 minutes to find out.

Make sure you're not just going by Wiki's listed spawn area, that guy can be pretty much anywhere. Common places I've seen him is over the efts/goobbues/sapplings at flux 2, over Khalamari and flying around that mountain right there with the limules to the south, over the funguars, rafflesias, wivres, treants, floating eyes, bugards, morbols... he's a real pain. He likes to hang out over flux 4 a lot, been eaten at 5 while fighting Raskovnik. I've never seen him as far as Kukulkan and the leeches/puddings area or down in the valleys towards the zone entrance where the lizards are but that doesn't mean it's not possible I guess.

You can find him every time if you have
A)Ranger

He spawns on the ground for 1-2 seconds, if ur RNG is fast and just spams widescan every few seconds, you can catch it before it acends the air. Also can use it if it aggro's anyone.

Well Virtue...I'm using my PS3's browser atm, which is VERY limited, until I fix my computer, so I can't exactly research it in "2 minutes".. and this was already a thread, so why not ask here? >_<... Anyways, thanks for the info on Turul. Hopefully my comp will be fixed soon, and I'll try on my 90 blu

any -en effect, still procs even at 0 dmg, so you'd have to stop the damage itself (IE perfect dodge or shadows)

MNK/DNC+ Vere can easily solo this if they dont give a ***about drops. Just need 1 Med, Fool's powder.

-40/50% PDT set >Drain Samba>Cstance>Fools Powder>victory smite> hundred fists > 2-3 victory smites = dead turul.

A vere MNK will chew threw turul's HP before Fool's powder wears off. You just won't get ***but a searing cape or neireschuasdjkaljsdla.

EDIT: Fools does stop spike DMG. Idk why you guys saying it doesnt. Unless powder/tonic/gambir don't all provide the same -mdt status.

Yes it does negate spikes damage, you must have not used the right drink.

Fool's Tonic? Pretty sure that's what I used. Only way I would have died is because of lag, chatlog showing me killing myself from spike damage after popping fools.
