But unlike Gekko and Spinning Slash, Torcleaver doesn't really lacks a huge ATK bonus.
Zic told me through PM's one day that I need 850 ATK to cap my pDIF against IT mobs at lvl 90.
VIT plays a bigger part after that~

Also favor pieces where you can have VIT AND ATK at the same time, that helps too. Like Ares's Cuirass or Shadow Breastplate, or Twilight helm~

Pain in the *** to get two gear sets for two relics/empryeans. I should have done another weapon. A lot more work to get Caladbolg item for me at least.

Also, I should elaborate further. These NMs will also have higher evasion and while Torcleaver has an innate acc boost and high fTP, multiattack procs are still a factor and they do not receive said acc boost. Some of these swaps, such as Bale Flanchard +2, also have significant amounts of accuracy to help land those additional hits.

Ya, not had any help getting that bale choker, so have to make do with what I got. Whats wrong with the head when no twilight? As for the others, what do you suggest?

Can enter salvage with 3, drop rates are much higher now, Ingots dont cost nearly as much.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Vhelm if you don't have twilight yet, took me months to get Twilight myself, Vhelm works just fine.

I had a friend who tri-boxed WHM MNK THF and would ask friends to warp-glitch him into salvage with only his 3 characters, at 75. It took me a long time to get full ares and it wasn't exactly "quick" but there's no way you can think ares is "hard" to get. Time consuming? Yes. Expensive? No... I paid 14 mil for mine, if you can't swing 180k, kill yourself. Hard? Absolutely not.
*edit* 14 mil was market price and a theoretical #. ISNM drove that price down quite a bit. I think that I only bought a third of the actual wootz.
