I am recently switching to 360, but my friend had used my account info on his 360 to watch my chocobo while i was on vacation. is there a way that i can use my 360 account to play ffxi instead of his account? he said something about it being linked permanently to his account. whats the deal?

yea... as far as i know you are out of luck, for some idiodic reason you can only register an ffxi account to a single 360 account then its stuck, you may be able to log in as a guest but i cant say for sure

No, call SE. Ask them to remove the Xbox Live gamertag associated with the POL ID.

They will ask for your POL ID, as well as some other confidential information (Including last 4 digits of the CC currently being used to pay for the POL account). Once they have that it will take them 2 minutes to unlink the POL ID from the Xbox Gamertag, and you're free to connect the POL ID to any Xbox Gamertag again.

I've done this several times with multiple accounts.
