arnt they ment to be adding new 2hr JA in this update looking on there site says jack squat about them adding anything of the sort even the road mat sams its in this update SE screw up maybe ?

road map says FFXIV 2.0 will be in october, but we all know it wont be til 2013, trust nothing SE says

The Road Map is for the test server, not the main game servers, so it could come at anytime this month or not at all.
POL and the FFXIV launcher main page are both back up, now (even though you cannot log into either game.) So at least the account system is up and running on both.
EDIT: 1533 files on file-check for FFXI. About 50 mins or so to update through POL download method.

I just cancelled the download, was at 3% done with 7h 30min remaining. Going to try the alternative way of updating, because that's just ridiculous.
Can u link me BG update pls? Normal way sucks.

Worked for me and I'm EU, used Kaces.
7 hours. Dropped to 4 hours. Then went back up to 8 hours.

It shouldn't matter, the DAT files for the USA and EU are basically the same, it should read they're installed and skip it.
Downloaded and installed.
