Read somewhere POL was coming up at 23:15 (early for updating idk) I forget where I read this now, getting late.

That being said...in all the years I've played this game, I've never see a SE/POL maintenance where POL would act as if there was no internet connection. Some "Network is busy, check connections" BS. Of course, I don't remember a 10+ hour non-emergency maintenance in a long time either. Maybe it's in preparation for that nice big fat expansion that'll be hitting Game Stop shelves by Xmas... ;)

i do not think it is the same bug i think it is just the fact that they are working on both the playonline servers and the ffxi servers,just wait it out and try again when the update is over worst comes to worst u may just need to reinstall playonline.
