Gonna try and solo this as RDM/NIN. Any advice/tips?
You won't need /nin. Just watch the links. You could probably sub smn for all it matters for the extra tick of mp... Main thing is keeping it dotted while you rest (if you need to) and watching out for the links. The spells they cast hurt.
Keep barstone and buffs up at all times, DoT it to death, nuke freely at max range. It can't touch you. (the links have further casting range and will nuke you hard.)

-Remember that his casting range is 18', but other worms have normal casting range

Pretty much any ranged job can solo it, but you'd do well to have barstone and some way to get hp back, just in case.

Stonega 3 is very easy to outrun.

Links are the only annoying part, mega himself rarely even casts. I've heard a drk friend solod it drk/nin, I duo'd it blm+rdm because I didn't wanna sit there for 60mins soloing it.
I preferred stoneskin to counter all the rasps that the links threw at me, at some point some will slip through shadows, it's not the single targets that get you anyway. Just make sure you run in fast if he goes unclaimed, you only have about 7 seconds before he goes under ground and recovers. Other than that he's a joke just need patience.

:( you just wait an hour or 2! I'll be home and come kill for you. And about the stonega thing, I do believe it has a mild fast cast? Might be wrong.
The links will be the ones casting and they don't have fast cast. Mikey himself will NEVER cast.
Well... he has casted before when we ran in to WS him... but yeah, generally he never casts cause you're out of range ^^
