So yeah, obviously this is sub-optimal for party situations, but for solo/low-man groups I think this will be fun. I just got my whm to 40 last night, so I haven't had any hands-on time to play with it as sub, but has anyone else tried this yet? I'm eagerly anticipating the next cap increases for /rdm; self-haste/refresh ftw!

I apologize if this has already been covered in another thread.

I dunno, In a solo / low-man situation for a DRK, one would think the survivability from /dnc or /nin would be superior.

This could be useful DRG/WHM probably though /BLU will probably be better overall because of faster/better spells.

For DRK I can't see this ever being used outside of PLing lower level PTs.

Well I've been using DRK/WHM to skill up my enfeebling magic on "even match" mobs and "tough"+ mobs at lv80 DRK. It's useful for that... that is, for the extra enfeebling spells etc. (since DRK main only has Bind, Sleep, and Sleep II... as enfeebling magic spells.) /RDM could work for skilling up enfeebling magic more easily on DRK too, but my RDM is level one... so I'm using /WHM.

For campaign, I tend to go DRK/NIN since I'm usually tanking... thus shadows are more helpful.

/whm is great for campaign. Being able to heal/buff yourself. Healing others (person tanking mob your on) As cap increases youll get things like self haste. And the always importent Reraise. Without having to uses items or scrolls. It works very well since drk is an mp based job, you actuly have some mp to utalize /whm as oppsed to other DD jobs

I've been rocking DRG/WHM for Magian trials; most target mobs are weak enough that I have plenty of MP for Haste and when they're stronger I'm usually teamed up so I can continue to self-haste and keep myself alive as needed.
