New "Occasionally attacks X Times" Weapons *with pictures*
Here are the three final(at this point) upgrades of the occasionally attacks twice dagger, the athame. The athame upgrades into a Parazonium, and here they are:
 This comes from the Athame upgraded by trading 10 eyes of Verthandi to the moogle.  This comes from the Athame that doesn't require eyes.  This also comes from the Athame that doesn't require eyes. What are your thoughts? Which is better? Obviously, without testing we don't know proc rates, but I think we can still weigh in on what the best one is. I hope my image links worked :O third one looks nice 41 damage and 7% double attack. so works on ws as well as melee just way lower proc rate but nice base damage.
Second one is like a merc kris but dark cant use it, and higher delay so kinda useless. First one is meh too. It depends on ones playstyle is the way I see it. But, on a personal note I would pick the occ 2-3 times for my thief. The mulitple hits would work wonders for tp gain to throw in more WS faster.
Hmmm very interesting. I had forgot about the OAT weapons when I went through the list.
I don't know the daggers that well but I'll take a look at the swords and make a comparision from that. So far the 2-3 times logically appears to be the better of the three, but again, dunno daggers. Remember, there are scythes with Occasionally attacks 2-3 times for DRK now. I'll go sift through trials for more screenshots if i Have time.
what kind of trials to get those?

2-3 one is probably better, but who knows what the proc rate is. At least it would be for DNC :s

Doesnt really matter if there are new 2-3 attack sycthes for dark, they wont beat merc kris.
To make the 33 damage oat weapon you need 10 chukwa's eggs. Chukwa is an adamantoise. I am speculating new VNM tier 3.
After this you need either 20 or 30 cuelebre's horn. I cannot remember and I don't have ffxi running now. I can't remember the other trials either. I will post more unless someone else wants to. i actually chose not to go the Eyes of verthandi route with my athame, simply because i dont do endgame stuff and its easier to solo a few hundred mobs while im sittin bored at work. Now im kinda proud of my choice and cant wait to make my Athame into a M.kris for dnc ! woooo !

I have done zerg before, I have witnessed it I know what m.kris is used for. Do not mess with me I will kick you in the face. My thoughts on bz was that it parsed well (top or 2nd two hander) and at/near/above ridill because ots base damage was so low. A new 2-3 scythe with average damage would be really good imo.
Anyway When I come back to game I'll be working on the 41dmg +7 double attack dagger. Gogo WS damage... maybe the 2-3 for farming also unless there's new rare/ex daggers that are better of course Bahamut.Stanflame said: Bismarck.Maxse said: My are what?! But if the scythe ends up with a high dps, its still useful in places besides a zerg. I screenshotted the Great Katanas, Swords and Scythes. I need a better way to upload them than what I was previously doing, any ideas?
