Life In Eorzea - Episode #1

SE today unveiled their official YouTube channel for Final Fantasy XIV along with the first episode of Life In Eorzea. Granted the audio is in Japanese, but we do get a good look at the world of Eorzea as well the characters who will guide us through this grand tour. Even get a little Lalafell /panic motion action going as well.

Granted I still am reserving judgment on 14 until the final product comes out. Admittingly though, this does look good; too bad the "galkas" don't have tails /sadface ; ;.

Ya Taru's look like small children now... and they walk/run very awkwardly.

I already played it on gamescom tho we only had access to a certain area and couldnt walk into towns etc.

The environment and the charactermovements look rly good and the game rly has its own atmosphere. The only thing that i find not fitting are the very VERY lively emotes of lalafell...

just ouch lol

Anyone else thing the Hyuran's "thumbs up" emote is a little... awkward? I'm half expecting him to wanna show other characters his fan-drawings of Sonic and Tails in 'inappropriate positions' while giggle-snorting.

Looks amazing, I love it! Definitely making myself a Lalafell, as awkward as they move lol.

In that context the Lalafell isn't so freaky and I'm actually finding that girl adorable after all. ; ;
