Fast Cast And Recast Confirmation...

I know this has been made before, that recast is 50% of the fast cast, i.e. 10% fast cast gives 5% recast. I recently finished my Marduk's Jubbah which says on wiki, to have 5% fast cast by itself.

I looked into testing just to see for myself, and when casting brd/whm with nothing but jubbah, my reraise recast was 57 seconds. Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't 3 seconds a 5% recast reduction, meaning jubbah itself is 10% fast cast?

Without it casting reraise, it says recast 59. Perhaps it is just game lag and it's still just 5% fast cast?

Not everything follows the same rule, actually. Marduk's Jubbah can be 5% casting time reduction, and 5% recast reduction.

Oh, that would make sense. Is there anything else fast cast-wise that follows the same rules?

Don't think so. Maybe try more testing to make sure? Also it could be just you missed a sec or so. I mean 2.5% would only put you down to 58 sec so yeah...

I watched it carefully and started exactly at 57 seconds :< It didn't do a quick 58 then 57. But I'll keep casting~

Ehh I think it's just being slow on my part. Watching it on song recast seems to say it's 5%.
