For Monk Ninja = Awesome Subjob at 80
So I just realized that with Monk at 80 ninja will have inon and Yonin which will give us better tanking plus more crits. Like 30 percent more plus destroyers = 36% and extra acc. All this put together could make hundred fists into a mighty strikes like attack. You would crit every 3 hits with monks or at least I think. I'll wait for math from you smart people.
The Critical hit rate diminishes over time and that and Accuracy aswell as enmity down are only active from behind the mob, so it's really only good for Meripos IF your paying attention which most people arent really.
For all we know, it may be toned down as a sub. Meditate is, sneak attack and trick attack are, souleater, utsu ni, ect.
That is a possibility but the extra acc and crit is welcomed by any monk =)
There's the possibility it won't be available as a SJ aswell, similar to Call Beast and Call Wyvern.
That is true, but is the 30% really 30 percent of your hits. So for example monk will hit hit crit, hit hit crit.
Not sure, don't have nin to test it, but at higher levels, unless all of your pt members/allies stand on the same spot, gl hitting from behind more than 50% of the time.
No, it's an average.
On NIN, I can pop Innin and get: Crit Crit Crit Crit Crit Hit Hit Crit Hit Hit Hit I could get you some numbers of before/after Innin on PH's for Summoning Belt if you want while I'm here >_> I'm only planning on 1~2 rounds with and without though, not like huge amounts of parses. SE could just be themselves and be all like 'lol you wish' and block out everything from 37 up to 49. xDDD
I can't see SE actually letting SCH/WHM would have access to Afflatus Solace. Thats what I always thought, but whenever I use Innin I seem to get a much higher rate of Crit's, even from the front. This is all just eyeballing it though >_> Most likely the placebo effect!
Maybe, I'm tempted to play around with it a little tomorrow when I wake up before Dyna now just to make sure XD
Veg when you getting back on to fairy =)

Sounds useless to monk unless you have another DD that can vastly outDD you (relic ?). I can see it usefull if your monk is not very good but otherwise ... If you want to max out your damage you'll want to take the most out of enmity to counter more. The +acc bonus is useless because pizza exists. The crit% only procs from behind..
This doesn't change the fact that /nin will remain the best SJ. What's a mnk? GO PUP! o.o

You always need shadows in any event, /war is stupid 99% of the time. Unless they suddenly give utsusemi-like ability/spell to another job, we will be stuck with /nin. and yeah divisor sux at 99. fail. I'm looking forward to sub dnc and use haste samba.
At "events" I expect the tank to keep hate so I can stay behind the mob. xp not so much.
Though with the way the emnity tables work based on lvl and such if they continue on the same way they do for the first 75 lvls hate from dmg and cures will go down alot and hate loss from taking dmg will too. While jas/spells will stay the same though. So if you actually have to start pting with tanks or have wars in pts or maybe sam/wars that voke they will have a much greater chance of keeping hate and thereby keeping it in front. The first level cap increase should be more than 80 considering it's supposed to come in 3 parts

Is that just speculation on your part (I saw the level80cap for first is official) but it makes more sense to go 80, 90, 99. 15 levels in one patch would probably overwhelm a lot of people. There was nothing about what the first increase will be on the website or even an allusion to anything besides 76+, where are you getting your information? |
