I actually like this version better than Lennons. This is coming from someone who is a big Beatles/Classic rock fan and who generally dislikes APC's music/genre.

My thoughts exactly other than the part about disliking APC. I feel like APC's spin gave the song a more "proper" tone to go along with the theme of the song.

Not really that good. There have been better through the years. Still nothing beats the original. I just think no one should attempt depeche mode songs anymore, you just can't do it well because the original was so ground breaking and so perfect. Nothing against Anberlin, just could have picked a different band to cover.

My Ranger friend was in party with me the other day and he whacked out about 10,000,000 damage on the mob... Needless to say he pulled hate and got TP'd to 1 HP. Then I hit cover and got hit a few times, directing the blows from him, and the mob died before it wore off.

really i havent heard it. I'll have to check it. I know I wasnt too fond of the Lacuna Coil cover, it just sounded too meh.

Anberlin is just an awesome band anyway.
They also did another remake if I'm not mistaken. They also covered "Mother" by Danzig, as well as "Love Song" by the Cure. My favorite remake by them thus far is "True Faith", originally performed by New Order (and i'm an 80's lover so New Order is great)
