Hi, Is southern part of the spine at K-9 or the northern part of the spine on the border of K-9/L-9 te right Pop for this? >.> Ive been killing the phs forever and is hasnt popped just making sure its the right Place? thanks.
Ive been killing them Since 3PM EST After Mait and yet no pop >.>...
I believe it helps if you just kill the WAR one in the area.
Similar to Mee Deggi/Quu Domi. They pop faster if you kill ONLY the placeholder. So just kill the one that doesn't cast. Just Killed It No Drop >.>

Siren.Enternius said: Both. To clarify: The placeholder can pop at either the north or south spine. It will always be the WAR type. The NM will always pop at the south spine (lord help me, visualizing the zone, pretty sure its the south at least). I'm 0/7 myself. Seraph.Trowabarton

The NM can pop at both spines, but the south one is by far more common spawn. Currently 0/19 and counting myself.

I'll clarify myself then =) I've never actually seen it spawn at the north spine, but doesn't mean it can't i suppose I've camped this NM for like 30 spawns. PH can spawn at both N and S. NM ONLY pops at South. And, yes it does seem to spawn faster when you don't kill the Rdm. Minimum spawn window is 90 minutes. Killing mobs from 1-89 minutes after death won't matter.
I have never seen this nm spawn north either and I've spent far more time in rolanberry than I care to think about trying to get this earring

From WIKI hope this helps a little :(
Notes:Lottery Spawn from the only Warrior-type Evil Weapon at K-9 along the bone spine every 90+ minutes, but has been known to take as long as 6 hours to spawn. The placeholder can spawn at either the southern part of the spine at K-9 or the northern part of the spine on the border of K-9/L-9 every 5 minutes. Killing the Red Mage-type Evil Weapon in this area is not necessary. Uses a TP move unique to Dynamis weapons, Flurry of Rage frequently. Doesn't use any other Weapon move. Can be avoided easily by running a short distance out of range. Soloable by most jobs at Level 75. Susceptible to Blind, Paralyze, Slow. Resistant, if not immune to Gravity and Bind. Highly resistant to Light Shot |
