Be careful if you aren't using normal macros. It would be easy to hit ppl using windower macros if they saved them to the server. I know it's not likely but it's a possibility.

or go to:

C:/Program files/playonline/finalfantasy/users/

you will find a bunch of folders there for each character, just copy them and save on flash ^^ . I keep a copy of windower macros too.

hmm, it should work if you paste it over in the same folder in the other PC. idk why it's not working, but the ffxi upload macros is still better ^^

Yeah idk why either. Same file name. And the fact those were like 10X bigger then the other ones making it obvious that that one was my main while the other were my mules. Just didn't work for some reason. So doing it the normal way just worked better

You must have done it wrong, worked for me just fine. The great thing about that is that it also copies all your settings and map markers too.

I had issues with my PS2 to 360. The 360 wouldn't recover my 5th-10th macro lines in book 1. Anyone know what's causing this? It isn't lack of space on my 360 HDD. I have a 120GB Hdd with about 3 gigs used already.

Meh I did exactly like that says. A friend who was helping couldn't figure out what went wrong either lol. And it only copies what you copy. You can only copy certain things like maccros. Also the normal upload does that too anyways so really no reason not to do it that way. Unless for some weird reason you have physical access to both computers but not internet for both even if only one at a time.

Well the saving to server method mentioned at the start of this thread works fine if you ask me, I used it to transfer macros and markers between XBox360 and PC.

As on PC, I often copy macro's and map markers from one character to another. Never had a problem with that either.
And saves me a lot of time making new markers all the time.
