XBOX To PC

ok i play FFXI on xbox how would i start playing on my PC would i need to call SE to get them to switch my acc. from Xbox to PC or is there somewhere i can just sign in from

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to authenticate using your POL ID and password on a PC.

I've installed FFXI on the PS2 platform and then turned around and played those same accounts on a PC.

I went from PC to a 360 back to PC... Because PS2/360 have nothing compared to the customization and freedom as PC version has.

And yeah. There is nothing to switch around from console to PC. It's just an account your accessing from a different unit. Only reason there are problems with the 360 FFXI stuff is because you need to link it to a gamer tag because of the achievement BS. If you didn't link it, people could be logging their accounts on their friend's gamer tag and giving away "free" achievements. That was Microsoft and SE's whole deal with the gamer tag link. =\
