FFxi: Inventory Will Not Sort: Inventory>sort>auto

recently re-installed. i was having a problem sorting my inventory.
I uninstalled light luggage and it didnt help.

I played with the in game config settings for auto sort and in order to make it work i had to change the in game auto sort config setting to off while simultaneously having it set at method A and that enabled me to go into my inventory and use the auto sort option.

I have made this post because i searched online last night and today and couldn't find anything on it so hopefully this helps someone

Even without the add-on mentioned something isn'the right with sorting. I'll do a sort and the items I recently add go to the correct area but do not join a stack until I do a second sort!

I'm wondering have you opened a ticket with SE on this issue?
