Unable To Pay For Subscription With Paypal.

Anyone else experiencing an issue where when you try to pay for your subscription via paypal, it just gives you this message

"Thank you for your purchase of Crysta.
Upon confirmation of your payment, Crysta will be added to your account.

* Please note that in some cases there may be a delay before Crysta is added to your account. "

but does not take you to the paypal site to actually pay for your fees? no crystas are added, I've been trying this all day.

I had this same problem, I'd initially made the purchase through a connection to a Japanese based VPN server. I switched to a Taiwan server based VPN and I had the same problem you talk about. I then switched back to the Japanese VPN and was able to make payment.

Don't think it's IP related. Have the same thing and I always pay from the same PC in the same location with no VPN. Have seen it before and resolved it by logging out/in and restarting PC, think their system is just buggy.

Be careful with trying to resubmit it, I did that a few years back and spent over $200 in crysta because I thought it was not going through. SE will not refund you if it happens to you.

Tried on two different pc's and two different browsers. When I tried to pay for it on my chrome browser it said something about flash not being updated, even though I've got the latest upgrade at the moment. I was sent a private message from someone saying they have this same issue and apparently it has something to do with the paypal button. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, I'm not holding my breath though since it's SE.

Fortunately it seems to be effecting 14 too, so odds are they'll get it fixed.

I know that if you buy directly from their site it and you have those issues it can be a dynamic/static ip address issue. (Credit card fruad prevention) I dealt with it in the past and it took me about 2 weeks to figure it all out. Some credit cards flat will not work on their site depending on your router status. As for the paypal thing I am not sure, it is possible that paypal during one of their policy updates, or some screwy update decided to do something similar and it prevented SE from accepting their IP.

Again my experience was the router needed to be changed from static to dynamic or vice versa, can't remember, and the credit card I was using.

Paypal should work tho, its safer than an actual CC with all the Back-end Security.

can we pay with Paypal yet ? (did Square Enix fix their Issue?)

Can confirm that I am still unable to pay for anything on several mules using Paypal to recharge Crysta. Surely I can't be alone?

Do we have any word on the status of this problem? Seems like a very long time for a billing issue to be outstanding...

It let me use paypal for mine. Kinda cheated and used a different cc last month so i didnt get forced into not playing. ;)
