Game Suggestions!

I am looking to have GameFly send a new game to me, but I can't decide what to get.

I have PS3 (don't laugh at me, I'm waiting for PS4 price to drop) and a Nintendo 3DS, but I'm looking primarily for a PS3 game here as I'm playing through Bravely Second on my 3DS at the moment.

I've been looking into playing an RPG but none of them seem familiar to me except for the Kingdom Hearts games and the Final Fantasy series of games, most of which I already own.

Can any of you recommend an RPG that I should play?

I'm fond of Ar tonelico series, for ps3 there are Ar Nosurge(latest) and Ar Tonelico Quuga(weakest in series, only for fans). There's couple of Tales -series games too, if you're into those.

Other than the Final Fantasy series, and the Kingdom Hearts games, I haven't played any other RPG titles. So if I'm going to play one, I'd like to play the original of the series before I play the sequels.

The tales series are similar to final fantasy where each game is a stand alone story unless named as a direct sequel.

I have Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on the way from GameFly. I just picked it out at random, actually. Glad to see someone actually listed it as a recommendation.

Also, as a pet job enthusiast on FFXI, the pet thing in Ni no Kuni is relevant to my interests.

I already play it. Matter of fact, I'm playing it now. You wouldn't know this, though, as you're on a different server.
