Inbox Broken

I have 2 x new messages showing in my inbox, yet when I try to open it says my inbox is empty, including any old messages.

I have not done anything different, can an admin have a look please or is it something simple to resolve?

check your other characters.

There's a drop box with inboxes for each XI character and your account. The PMs were likely sent to a different inbox.

Was a message sent to your account not a toon. When logging into ffxi before you log to characters select screen check your account mailbox. It in the drop menue at top right of your screen. It drops down with mailbox/flist/chat/and few other thing when you move your mouse icon new top right of screen.

Pls uninstall.

This is an extremely rude, 2 word post(in improper english for maximum low effort posting) insulting post to someone who was being EXTREMELY helpful.

The guy was asking for help and this kind person helped him, no reason to tell the guy to "uninstall the game"

"Toon" is kinda a no-no in the XI community because it reminds people of the old school toxic WoW community iirc.

That doesn't excuse such posting.

Telling someone to uninstall, because they said a word(not even an offensive word, just a word), while being EXTREMELY helpful to someone asking a question and needing help, is very rude. That would make that person feel bad and ruin their day(possibly).

The person in question(Sehachan) also contributed nothing to the topic at hand besides throwing an insult at someone, who again, was being nice and helpful.

People who are nice and helpful should be protected and respected, imo! That helps make our community better and the forums more friendly. That attracts more people too!

People are rude and insulting should be punished accordingly.

I am not going to entertain whatever it is that you're trying to accomplish here.

Yet it isn't, at all. There was no insults or "attacks." At worst it was a joke.
