Discord Connection Issues

A member of my linkshell has had problems with Discord disconnecting him from FFXI, has anyone else had issues with this?

I know it sounds unlikely, but on Teamspeak he has no connection issues, this has been going on for months, yet on discord he has disconnection issues intermittently, but extremely frequently, and if he closes Discord, the connection issue resolves immediately.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or know a fix?

What is his connection speed ?
Discord via browser or software?

Dont use Discord much, dont play xi, but either sounds like either his pc or connection or something in between is prioritizing resources to Discord over the game, causing disconnect issues.

Is he running Discord as administrator?

Discord itself has had some server hiccups in the last week as well.

Already had him set process priority to high on FFXI in task manager, haven't noticed any difference from that, and there's no video lag for him ingame, only recieve.

This has been going on for months, and I've changed server locations for him a few times, no difference for him.

His voice connection to Discord is also spotty, accompanied with his recieve dips/spikes in FFXI, but crystal clear on Teamspeak.
