That's a tricky one. I remember having a case like that back in the days and I remember that part of the answer was "please make sure to deactivate the account and not just delete it" but I really can't remember what happened in the end. Either way, Japan is in charge so it'll take some time if your account was really deleted.
Contact their support with all the necessary owner information and you'll have a definitive answer, anyway. Avoid emails, prefer phone and live chat, always.
