After today's update (july 11th) Windows 10 asks me original FFXI disk for runing it and doesnt recognize it. Anyone knows any solution for this trouble?

Verify install is good.
Verify disk is good.
Don't use Windows 10?
Probably will need to reinstall XI, maybe even Windows.

Also just for the lulz make sure your a/v isn't quarantining any files.

I use Windows 10. Reinstall FFXI is what I would like to avoid if there is any other way. Thanke you for answering in any case.

Not really, either your drive/os/install is corrupt or just your install, either way you will need to reinstall.

Unless of course it is just your a/v quarantining files, then removing them from quarantine should remedy the issue.

Solutioned it. Norton had put in quarrantine the ffxi.dll archive.

Yep, thanks for the tip, happened to me too. I wonder why Nortons all of a sudden decided that ffxi.dll was a Trojan..

It isn't the first time that it has happened.

Solution: don't use Norton.
