Guildwork is your only option
To clarify further, The LScommunity which has been updating your profile got cut. It doesn't exist anymore. Guildwork is the only way now.
You need to have the guildwork Plugin with Windower, its avaliable on that green screen you see when you load Windower 4. You need to register and get a code and put it on your FFXIAH, It's at the bottom of Account on the side bar.

I believe that Rooks is looking into adding something that will recognize completion of the final missions in the storyline. Guildwork does not track Mission progress so right now they cannot be updated.

Did they ever figure out a way to update missions? I remember they were looking at adding something the recognized completion of mission story lines by tracking items like Rajas Rings and such. Just wondering if this ever took place.

If you go to http://www.ffxiah.com/account there will be a token that you can use to activate your link between Guildwork and FFXIAH. Make sure you have the guildwork plugin for windower loaded and your character registered on both sites.

what would I do if guildwork won't let me create a character?

Wouldn't let me either. Make an account, then //gw flush. (Don't have specific command in front of me.) Should build automatically.
Not working for me, my buying is showing up but not my char. I am a REM bard and nada on there. I have myself linked, did the verify and gw flush so I'm at a loss.

I can’t wait for my assaults and missions to update again. I’ve gotten captain rank since returning.
Pretty sure you're SoL on missions. I've been basically all mission lines finished since around 1 month after SE's linkshell community went offline and it still has those messed up on AH.
Nah heard you can do it with guildwork. Just have to login and do gw update or something like that. But guildwork not working so can't update anything.
If you do get it updated on GW please let me know how you did it. It doesn't show any of my mission progress and I've been playing for years.
Rooks hammered out Guildwork updating items after the October update, I thought - it picked up my Chango about a week after finishing it. The issue is there’s still no way to track mission completion as he was never given all of the keys to the website, as I recall.
