You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. It's too much to expect if you can't offer anything and just want others to donate their time on a stranger on internet, in a video game.
Only thing I could want from other people is that they're looking to have fun. People from whom you only ever hear about their item wishlist or get negative about the state of the game are just plain boring. For anyone out there who's feeling alone, I advise you to get daring, go adventure, even if you gotta go alone or grab a skeleton crew, even if you're going to get destroyed. You're still going to have more fun than waiting in your Mog House.
It's not that there aren't enough people, it's that initiative is in short supply.
