It's been a week.

- What have you liked about the changes?
- What have you disliked?
- Do you have ideas for making it better?

Also, if you've got answers to those and you're not comfortable giving your opinion here, feel free to PM me.

Thanks!

Honestly haven't been keeping up with it enough to really notice, I peek in it once in awhile and:

Except for a few extra posts because of typos, etc.

I don't know if this would be possible, but it would be better if there was some way to keep people from editing out the main point of a post in lieu of the minutia, since in can change the context of the post itself and the conversation can be manipulated.

If there was a need to divert, [/b] is always there, but the bulk of the post cannot be compromised.

You've got a lot more on your plate, though.

Short of flagging edited posts for moderator review, I don't know how this could work. I get what you're asking, but I don't think I have any way to parse and evaluate English programmatically in a way that would achieve this.

Yeah, I thought that would be a longshot.

This idea is far more appealing than it should be.

When you close the particular thread, put some statistics:
# new posters posting in a P&R (Thanks for playing!)
# of posters topic-banned (no need to necessarily name & shame, unless desired)
# of reports (no need to break it down)

Yeah, then add this. That'll make people think twice about your sweet gig.

I actually thought about going in there and doing that a few times. Then I didn't because you guys messing up is too funny.

Who can use and spell the correct your or you're?!

1 is doable, but I'd have to think about how to implement that in a way that wasn't total spaghetti.

2 and 3 are actually pretty easy (and I have tools that do some of that already), but I don't really want to do anything that might incentivize/gamify misbehavior.

Yet you allow P&R to exist.

Only problem I would see would be people intentionally trying to close a thread so you post said statistics.
