I assume after episode 34 Filler Episodes will Begin

Wasn't at all impressed from what I have seen so far, so I'll pass. DBZ was my favorite but maybe I've just moved on from liking most anime.

While I love DB... This new stuff doesn't have the sense of urgency DB and DBZ had. You don't feel any sense of real danger and its only really about Goku and Vegeta. All the sub characters are just there for nostalgia and weak as crap. Freiza getting on SSG level in 4 months and that weak plot of that arc made me mad. Still watching it but One punch man is so much better then this series and its a humor...

Uh what? Freiza committed Genocide multiple times and was about the finish off the sayin race until Goku turned SSJ. In DB king piccolo was never defeated and their last hope was a method to trap him which failed and everyone thought all was lost till Goku got there.

I don't know if anyone has read it, but I enjoy an exceptional fan comic called Dragonball Multiverse. Ignores GT, ignores Super and picks up right after Z. It's been around for a couple years.

Aliens come to Earth and say they're recruiting the best fighters from universes with vastly different outcomes* to come have a grand tournament to beat all grand tournaments.

So there's a universe where the saiyans basically took over everything. A universe where Frieza won. A universe where Goku never lost his memory and did what he was sent to do.

There's a universe where Super Buu absorbed everything and a universe where Vegito never unfused.

There's also other cleverly twisted universes, but it would spoil things to list them.

* By vastly different outcomes, I mean they explicitly state that they're not recruiting from universes where sets of fighters are basically the same. Goku from universe 139-A had cereal for breakfast but Goku from 139-B had pop tarts!

10 Episodes to power up, 3 more to fight only to have one of them say.. oh i need to get serious. 10 more power up episodes.
No sense of urgency.

Only reason they did that was because of how fast the studio caught up to the manga. Your view point seems of someone coming home school and flipping thru cartoon network and saying how crappy this anime is while you wait for courage the cowardly dog to come on.

Look if you hate DBZ fine, but don't act like your view is popular considering its one of the most popular anime in the world.



For instance this scan alone was like 2 episodes long while they charge their lasers. While the manga was about 4 pages to conclude

Thrashing kid aside, I think this will be good.

People are speculating that Gohan will get some sort of resurgence, I hope that is the case, hell they brought Piccolo to that space tournament and he logically should be the weakest fighter there by quite some distance unless something has happened that hasn't been revealed.
