Looked up everything I could on how to get the New Year's gift. The NPC you trade it to for the Battledore is still there, but I traded 100 kazham pineapples and 100 crystals to the lead monkey running around and still haven't gotten the gift. Tried the followers too and they give nothing.

I dont know about the event, but this battledore is listed under prizes for Rank 5 in this year's bonanza
