Hi guys after 2 years away from the game i'm a lil lost i need a point to know where to start again?

Look up Records of Eminence.

Look up Trust Magic.

Look up Rem's Chapters 1-5.

Use a combination of BGWiki and FFXIcyclopedia for this info.

After that try to find a linkshell or a group to run Alluvon Skirmish with to get gear and weapons from that.

Depending on your job Oboro in port jeuno offers decent level 119 weapons to start you out with. Until then you are likely stuck with level 117 eminent and homestead weapons.

Good luck, it's a little rough until you can swing some decent stuff to get you started but it becomes much easier after time.
