^ this, i been killing 6hrs seen 1 gold chest and CP ring was in it.

I didn't have anything special, no NM kills in Escha, and was getting a fair few blue and brown chests yesterday in Zi'tah.

I do have both Luck vorseals available to me though - not sure if this has any effect at all on chests.

i have found several blue and brown chest in esch ru'ann but if u mean the gold boxes that appear in abyssea i have yet to see one of those

yeah the rings come from the gold boxes that look like one from abyssea. very very rare, I got a caliber ring from that earlier in ru'aun

Unlikely, all the mission RoE objectives have that requirement, I believe it's just stating you have to be aligned with the nation to be able to do their missions.

I have just been tossing mine. I do not believe there is a way to recharge them. They are very handy though. It is nice to be able to alternate between the Echad Rings and these.
