I believe not many have seen the way this Orc spawns. Skip to 2 min 35:

So I think the items from it are quite rare and it's very annoying to camp.

Funny that you would post this. I've been following Kaoz for a long time and I had just recently watched this exact video. I too never knew of the existence of this NM.

Can we ignore all items that have never actually been implemented?

I'm in full agreeance with this, and thus a few items have been removed.
sangha earring being one of them.

To Clarify:
Item's that have been obtainable at one point are staying on the lists, as they where fully obtainable, at some point. See moon carrot.

Quetzalcoatl.Kenrusai said: »

These items will not be added as they fall into not properly being implemented as obtainable.

All of the Kshama rings have been added.
Same with argent dagger, mushroom helm, luna subligar.

Also fixed some mistakes. on the list as well (like gnole torque on one set but not on the other.)

I wouldn't add Luna Subligar. That is an easily poppable NM that people can get anytime they want and FFXIDB shows it dropping Luna Subligar about 18% of the time. Hardly rare. I just happened to be in Boyahda Tree about a year ago and saw him up, I killed him and got Luna Subligar (and then tossed it).

Matron Knife

Very rare drop from an event no one bothered doing anyways.

Has the hidden effect of letting non mithra races eat raw fish like a mithra.

Useless + rare + drops from something no one wanted to do = no one has this knife :p
Aw I loved these battles. Barborossa's Zerehs were a huge goal of mine for jobs like Drg/Thf since I never had Homam and I believe Cor never had Haste legs besides those? They were really fun fights too, especially the last one where you ran through the ship trying to stave off the enemies while fighting the boss.

Of the Ashu Talif things, I think the Barbarossa pants would be the harder to get (if my memory serves), based on the fact that it comes from an escort mission, and the ??? box for it won't appear unless the girl remains untouched the whole time.

For the Matron Knife, you just have to kill an imp NM as part of a wave of enemies. For the Barbarossa hands, you just have to aggro the captain with a hit from behind (without missing or him linking from the monkey), I recall going BRD/THF for this in the olden days.

Might also want to consider adding JSE capes that are completely maxed out considering the odds of getting one are as high as 1 in 20,000 for some of them.
Could say the same about most augmented gear, and you're assuming the distribution of each stat is independant of each other stat. It's completely possible they programmed something like a crit roll, that would place all stats in the highest range and make a perfect cape more likely.. think HQ tiers on synergy augments.

While this may or may not be true... has anyone obtained a completely maxed out JSE cape? What about a 6 PDT / 6 MDT / 6 BDT dark ring (it took me forever just to get my 6/5/5)?

Barbarossa pants were actually from the captain fight like the gloves so annoying to get but popular enough to have a decent bit around.

Escort was the incredibly useless megrim crown

I've pulled like 4 crowns from the gobbie box this year,
they are quite silly.

RIP.

I've always regretted not saving the whole "boomerang ***" drama. I really do.

On the subject of wands, Lilith's Rod is easily one of the most insanely difficult and highly unlikely objects to ever own in FFXI, yet there seem to be a curious number of them.

I actually have one of those muled.... somewhere since I knew it was a 'once or never' situation.

Assuming you're talking about the mog house furniture, it's from an old piano collection CD from many, many, many years ago. I remember buying it cause it was one of the first furniture pieces to have a feature where it did something at a certain time of the day.

There’s 2 of them. The brown one is the Harpsichord. It was available as a item code when purchasing the FFXI Piano Collection CD. I can’t remember how to get the white one.

Edit - The white one is called a Spinet. Same thing, its a coded item from a music CD
