Should I Keep These Augments?

updating my alluvion gear. while i was aiming for TA +2, i got a dual wield +5 along with acc 25+.

should i keep the augments as they are? i can then augment another Taeon tights.

keep the dw 5 and change to acc 25 to acc/attack

or keep the acc and change the DW 5,

last;y change both

or?

Taeon with DW5 would be the best for tp when you are lack of March (uncapped haste).

DW5 Taeon pieces are quite good for non-magic haste capped situations depending on the job. I'd keep the DW and then augment a new pair with TA and acc/atk.

I'd toss the DW. Most of the time you're going to have BRD/GEO to provide haste spells. Or at the very least, have 2 pairs of the gear, one for solo and one for group settings.

This is the right answer. Keep the dw5 ones with dw5 and just get a new pair for ta. Its not to difficult to acquire the gear, but the augment could prove expensive later if you need it. And if not, you just throw it out and have lost basically nothing.

I had DW on thf, great for solo, switched to TA since on everything that matters you have buffs, if money no problemo make 2 sets otherwise choose based on what content you do most.

which what i thought, however when you are not in a pt, you have trusts.

where you cant have trusts, Dynamis? it rather too easy of content to matter, or even not optimal because you will be attacking to fast to proc.

which also leads me to replace the 25 acc.

either way, ive never farmed dynamis and never will.

i guess ill keep it until i dont have space for it.

I specifically got a second pair of Tights to augment with DW for soloing.

Farming salvage comes to mind, great to have DW in there on thf or whatever you farm with if you ever decide to make a mythic or just sell the alex.

After the last wave of salvage bans I've been unable to sell any alex...wouldn't wanna jump to conclusions, but it sold in only a few hours before. My business is ruined!
