Occult Acumen

Minimum amount to make myrkr worthwhile? I still precast with magians for cap fc, i'm using 4 helios and need to choose between occult and burst dmg.

Burst dmg is dusk, occult acumen is leaf.
Do 'em both.

Right, i dont think i will be able to burst 2 spells without magians.

I guess that would depend on your other equipment.

Remember that BLM gets a job trait with elemental casting time -30%. [Elemental Celerity V]

/rdm is 15% so that only leaves 35% to cap in equipment. or if not /rdm 50%. both can be done w/o magians if you have the equipment.

What does Occult Acumen have to do with Mryrk? Just wondering.

With a decent amount of occult acumen, you can fulltime your staff and myrkr back to full mp more frequently than you can run out of mp. How much you need to have effectively unlimited mp will depend on your refresh buffs, usage of af119 body(highly recommended almost always), and mob DT+-. At the very least, helios head/hands/feet should have 10 occult acumen augs if you plan on locking staff for myrkr.
