I wonder if the story/lore is even worth it? I mean it is spread across 31 books.

See now I sorta wanna read it, see how the game was supposed to be portrayed.............

Might/probably be better than the actual game.

Looked the author up and found this site that seems to give descriptions for a few of the books. The site claims those novels exist in other languages EXCEPT English, so might be able to find German or other localized variants.

All in all, it seems to just be stylized telling about what seems to be game experiences, with some fluff lore added in. Awesome artwork aside, the website describes the events in a way that will kick up some nostalgia in players of yesteryear.

i have 6 of them in french so i supose to English one can be found somewhere too >.<
