its extremely annoying that anything relevant to gil sales is delayed on this site after each update.

New items used to be up within hours of the update until ~3 months ago I believe. They changed something so that normal means of .dat mining broke all of a sudden .-.

it has been going on since after adoulin launch for sure, exactly when i do not think i could definitively say, but i know for a fact that it has made it harder to correctly gauge value of a particular item. there is a clear pattern, and i know someone who has actual evidence in the form of screenshots of non updated gil-relevant items continuing to be blocked long after each update.(i dont know for how long, but he makes me believe that it is long enough such that prices are as similar as possible across all servers before released) if needed i could have him provide this information, but someone should definitely address this. based on this evidence it isnt hard to come to a conclusion that abuse is happening. (im not saying it is, but rather an explanation would curb this. it takes a lot less for someone to think such extremes) i believe that it isnt, but i have heard from multiple people (more than just the one who swears by it) that it could be happening.

I'm just grateful for the staff of FFXIAH. I'm glad they put the effort into providing this free service to us. It's gotta be rough when there's so much coding and decoding that has to be done in order to keep up with all transactions in game, it even took BG wiki a while to get all new in game items added.

I am grateful to the ffxiah staff as well, but that being said, the site runs plenty of ads so it's not charity work. Not to mention donations are made by players. It's not unreasonable for players to expect the site be updated/maintained.

Edit: looking at the donation page, it looks like it's been awhile :/

I would be incredibly surprised if the ads cover the cost of running it all. Ads never paid well, and they pay less than ever.

Shame on you for admitting that. This site has always been a favorite of mine and has always been on my whitelist. As it should be for everyone that frequently comes here.

Don't think Guildwork Premium users see ads? I have FFXIAH whitelisted and don't see any.
