Pol-1155 Error When Attempting To Update Ffxi

While attempting to download the latest version update I keep getting the error code POL-1155 and at the bottom of the message it says D:ffxiMain.dll. Can someone help me figure what to do to fix this?

I'd hate to do a total reinstall just to get the same message. I've done a file check through POL and a system restore so far and nothing's worked. I don't understand why it's bringing up the disk drive when I'm downloading from PlayOnline either. The ffxiMain.dll is located on my C: drive already.

go into your pol>se>ffxi folder and delete ffximaindll.tmp redo upfate

The only file I had with a similar name was ffxi.dll.tmp2. I deleted it and ran the update but it just reinstalled that file and then gave the same POL-1155 D:FFXIMain.dll message.

ok next step pull the ffximaindll out of same folder and retry

OK, I deleted the FFXIMain.dll and It's downloading fine so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

The update finishes but right before ffxi loads I get a message saying Direct3d has failed to initialize. I did a test to see if my Direct3d was working from the DXDIAG and it is.
